This is a community session for anyone interested in becoming involved in gun violence intervention work. This event will give an overview of intervention and outreach programs funded by Louisville Metro’s Office for Safe and Healthy Neighborhoods with presentations about the “Outreach Academy,” the city’s new Gun Violence Dashboard and the local gun violence intervention and prevention ecosystem. Ideal session participants are individuals who live in communities that are the most affected by gun violence and who can easily connect with high-risk individuals.
