The Louisville Metro Youth Cabinet Presents: National Youth Violence Prevention Week Forward Together Art Contest

 

The Louisville Metro Youth Cabinet is excited to announce it is now taking entries for "Forward Together," a unique, youth-only art contest associated with this year's National Youth Violence Prevention Week! Whether you're passionate about painting, drawing, digital art or photography, this is a chance to submit your best work and get noticed for your artistic vision and ability to be expressive.

ELIGIBILITY: Ages 6-24. Jefferson County, KY. resident
ENTRY TIME OPEN UNTIL MARCH 7th.
THEME: "Forward Together" Artwork would reference gun violence prevention and will be judged by how well the art represents the theme and youth commitment in the fight against violence.
JUDGES: Members of the Louisville Metro Youth Cabinet (ages 16-24)
SHOWCASE: Entries will be publicly displayed at the "NYVPW Art Gallery Event," on March 28, at Roots 101 African American Museum in Louisville, Ky on March 29 at the NYVPW Gala.
