SOFFA SUPPORT GROUP

 

SIGNIFICANT OTHERS, FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND ALLIESOF TRANSGENDER AND GENDER DIVERSE FOLKS SUPPORT GROUP

For those supporting transgender/ gender diverse loved ones, it can be hard to feel connected and supported. You're not alone. Finding community is an important way to connect to resources and hope. In this support group, Avery Egana (they/them) and Erin Biesecker (they/she) under the supervision of Dr. Joanna Morse (she/her) will explore educational topics that the group is interested in for supporting their loved ones and facilitate supportive and safe discussions amongst group members. Both have experience working with transgender/ gender diverse folks in therapy and leading therapy groups.

Note: this is not a therapy group

Every other Saturday 9-11am

February 1st-April 19

In person group in Louisville

Open group: can join any session, not required to attend every session

Cost: $20 per session

First hour: education on topics for supporting loved ones;

second hour: group discussion
