Abundant Masculinities with Kanoa Arteaga

Abundant Masculinities with Kanoa Arteaga

Kanoa (he/they) is a māhū/transmasculine person with roots in the Bay Area and Hawai'i, currently living in occupied Tonkawa/Comanche land, otherwise known as Austin, Texas. He is the founder of Abundant Masculinities, a project that creates spaces for men and transmasculine folk to identify, heal from, and take responsibility for the wounds of patriarchy while creating new and healthy masculinities alongside their peers.

Workshop Description: Transmasculine people have always existed, and we're still finding our way in a world shaped by patriarchy. What does it mean to cultivate mindful transmasculinity? Join us in conversation and self-reflection as we discuss the gifts and complexities of living authentically in a transmasculine body.
